After much prayer and deliberation, the Augustana District Council is moving forward with a plan for filling the Service Coordinator position so ably filled by Pastor Randy Freund for the past nine years. This full-time position has been reorganized into a team of three part-time positions, each with a primary area of focus, but working as a team to cover all the responsibilities of the district. The three positions are as follows:
- Augustana District Coordinator (ADC) Interviews are currently taking place
- District Theology Coordinator (DTC) Applications are being accepted through the end of October
- District Mission and Stewardship Coordinator (DMSC) Applications are being accepted through the end of October

The ADC will be in a lead position and will function as the Chief of Staff for the district. The Council will work with the ADC to hire the District Theology Coordinator and the District Mission and Stewardship Coordinator.
